Kraemer Lumber has been a family owned and operated business since 1958.

Edwin "Jack" Kraemer founded Kraemer Lumber in 1958 in Greenwald, Minnesota where his wife and 14 children resided. He later sold  the shares of the company to his children. Currently  two grandchildren and a son-in-law are the owners.  At one time there was a lumber yard in Geenwald, Melrose, and Belgrade, MN.  

In April of 2000 the current location, in Melrose, Minnesota, was purchased and the yards were consolidated into one. Since then the business has continued to provide the quality products along with exceptional service  people have come to expect from Kraemer  Lumber for over 50 years!

The fall of 2014 broke ground on a 10,000 square foot addition to house a growing need within the community.
